Understand the trigger. Verify the evidence.
How Clima Protect works
Historical replay, inspectable data and deterministic arithmetic. Actual policy settlement is a separate owner-signed test protocol path.
Choose your coverage
Select a region, peril type (drought or flood), observation window, and payout amount.
Get a signed quote
Our oracle system calculates your premium based on historical risk data. Quote is Ed25519-signed and valid for 120 seconds.
Policy mints on-chain
Your premium is paid in USDC. A policy account is created on Solana with your exact trigger conditions.
Owner-triggered settlement
After the window ends, the owner submits a settlement transaction; authenticated observations determine the outcome.
Index crosses threshold.
Outcome is deterministic.
Unlike traditional insurance, Clima Protect uses objective weather data indices. Choose how rainfall is measured over your observation window:
Best for drought — did the region receive enough total rain?
Best for sustained dry/wet spells — was it consistently too dry?
Best for flash floods — did any single day exceed safe levels?
Max index (95mm) exceeded threshold (80mm) on Day 9. Payout: 500 USDC
Built for trust
Every design decision prioritizes verifiability. Every data point is traceable to its oracle source.

Reproduce the rainfall trigger without a wallet. Historical replay is hypothetical; it is not purchased coverage or a guaranteed payout.
